Advocacy Efforts Within NWDA
• Advocate for Wallace Park/Chapman School grounds upkeep and coordination;
• Advocate for greater public access to Chapman School and MLC;
• Advocate for PP&R SDC (System Development) fund sharing and application;
• Promote NWDA through Arbor Day and Parks Concerts programs

Friends of Wallace Park they have been teaming up with Solve to clean up Wallace park quarterly. They are working on a centennial celebration for the park.
Harper’s Playground Worked with NWDA and Metropolitan Learning Center community, specifically parents and students who had formed the group “Friends of Couch Playground”. Together we brought a Harper’s Playground all inclusive model play area to replace their recently demolished and much beloved large structure.
